All Students:

Instructions for Preparation and Attendance at Bródnowski Hospital
Seminars & Workshops:

  • Meeting Point: Gather in front of the department before the start of classes. The doors will remain locked until 8:00 AM, when the timed lock releases.

  •  Entering the Department: A lecturer, secretary, or other staff member will meet you at the entrance and guide you to the lecture room. Please do not ring the doorbell before 8:00 AM, as it is reserved for emergency patients.

  • Lab Coats: Students are not required to wear lab coats during classes held in the Ultrasound Diagnostic Department.

  • Breaks: During breaks, students are asked to remain quiet and stay inside the seminar/exercise room with the doors closed, or leave in front of the main entrance of the Department. Staying in the corridor of the Department is not allowed, as diagnostic examinations are being conducted in the rooms at that time.

  • Restroom: A student restroom is located in the corridor of the Department, opposite the registration desk.

  • Lateness: Any delay longer than 15 minutes will be counted as an absence, regardless of whether the student eventually attends the class.

  • Absences: One excused absence is allowed, provided that the missed content is made up with a one-page A4 essay on the topic covered during the missed session. The essay should be sent directly by email to the Head of the Diagnostic Ultrasound Lab.

  • Erasmus Students: Erasmus students should remain in contact with the Group Representatives to which they are assigned for any updates or information.

Group Representatives only (!):

  • Schedule Confirmation: Each Group Representative is responsible for contacting the department 2-3 days before the course begins to confirm if there have been any last-minute changes to the schedule.

Information on Group Changes

  • According to the current regulations of the Medical University of Warsaw, all changes of dean’s groups – including transfers between groups within a single course – must be carried out officially through the Dean’s Office.
  • Students wishing to change their assigned group are required to submit the appropriate application form to the Dean’s Office. Only applications processed and approved by the Dean’s Office are considered valid.
  • Please note that direct arrangements with course coordinators or academic teachers cannot replace the official procedure. Therefore, students are kindly asked not to address requests for group changes to the course coordinator of the Department.

Thank you for your cooperation.
